We specialize in creating unforgettable, multi-sensory, fine dining events—it’s what we do every night. Fully immerse yourself in a quintessential San Francisco dinner party and mingle with your passionate hosts.
Our chefs will tell you about the inspiration behind each hyper-seasonal course on our two-Michelin-starred menu, and our award-winning sommelier team is eager to guide you through a bespoke pairing selected from our 1400-label cellar just for you.
A private dinner party at Lazy Bear is in part a performance. Each course begins with an introduction by a chef from the entirely open kitchen. Taking center stage in the dining room, chefs plate each dish right in front of you. Don’t be shy — our guests are key participants! We encourage you to visit the kitchen early and often, get to know us, take photos, talk about the how and delve into the why.
We offer a one-of-a-kind communal fine dining experience encouraging you to catch up with old friends while making new ones. Celebrate with us during a single seating or throw one hell of a party with exclusive access for the night.
SINGLE SEATING EVENTS
Reserve our first (6–9pm) or second (8:30–11:30pm) seating Tuesday through Saturday for a semi-private event up to 44 guests. Take a nostalgic journey with a modern American twist, beginning with a cocktail hour on our mezzanine.
FULL BUYOUT EVENTS
Keep Lazy Bear all to yourself! The extended Lazy Bear experience is available any day of the week for sit-down dinners of up to 56 guests or cocktail receptions for up to 90 guests.
WEDDINGS + REHEARSAL DINNERS
We would be honored to be a part of your special day! Let us indulge your guests with an extraordinary experience. Our team is accustomed to producing a seamless event with cuisine, amenities and hospitality at the highest levels. Our experienced planners will be with you every step of the way so all you have to do is relax and enjoy time with your friends and family.
SMALL GROUPS
Lazy Bear does not have any private dining rooms. For groups of up to 12, you have the option to purchase regular or premium tickets for one of our seatings. For groups of 13 and more, a private buyout is required. Please note we are unable to accommodate advance group bookings outside these options.
DEN NIGHTCAP EVENTS
Available from 9:30pm on Tuesday through Saturday, the mezzanine features a cozy den aesthetic and a bird’s-eye view of the dining room experience. A semi-private booking for up to 30 guests, enjoy a nightcap with small bites for the ultimate after-dinner experience.
